Public Relations Ministry
The P.R. ministry exists to maintain good relationships with members of Center Community Church and the community. We accomplish our mission by having regular contact with members of the congregation, honoring accomplishments and recognizing needs of families of CCC.
The P.R. ministry participates in a number of activities including the following:
1. Each Sunday morning, we greet people, pass out the bulletins, and ask visitors to sign the roster. If you would like to be a greeter see Alice Henderson.
2. We keep a record of Births and Deaths.
3. We send cards to members and loved ones when sick.
4. We prepare and take floral arrangements to those who are hospitalized.
5.We send flowers to funerals for CCC members and their immediate family.
6.We decorate the church building.
7. We honor Mother's on Mother's Day, Father's on Father's Day, Veterans on Veteran's Day, and those who are graduating from High School and College.
8. We telephone congregation members to encourage attendance at special events held at CCC.
9. We update the prayer list in the monthly newsletter.
10. We place a memorial flower in the sanctuary upon the death of one of our members.
11. We lead the decorating for the Hanging of the Greens.
12. We bake pies for the apple pie ministry.
